The Avengers going into Saturdays box office results...still had a commanding lead over the Dictator and even Battleship....Saturday should tell us if The Avengers will hold on to that top spot......either way Hollywood is happy.....the box office receipts keep climbing.....

The Avengers...not afraid of Dark Shadows...still #1

The Avengers is still rolling in the box office results.....it took in another $103 million this past weekend...and even Depp / Burton can't slow them down...Dark Shadows took in $29.7 million....one more week and The Avengers will over take The Hunger Games as the #1 movie this year...so far...this weekend should be big for the studios...Battleship and The Dictator open.....could there be a new #1 next week.....

The Avengers....smashes all records at the box office.....

Marvel's The Avengers sets the all-time opening weekend gross at the box office....can it become the #1 of all time...passing Avatar...it will take a few weeks to answer as 2012 could be the biggest take for motion pictures in a long time.....there are many more movies to be released in the coming weeks...it sure will be fun to watch.....see below for the top 10 movies last weekend....

Josh Hamilton makes history....hits 4 homers in a single game

The Texas Rangers beating the Baltimore Orioles 10-3 last night was not the story. The story was Josh Hamilton who had a dream night at the plate....he went 5 for 5 last night with an amazing 4 home runs in a single game.

Hamilton is only the 16th player in Major League history and the only currently active player to hit four homers in a game.

New England Patriots to sign Joseph Addai

The New England Patriots look to sign Joseph Addai later today....to help add a veteran tailback.....most NFL experts say that the Patriots could get three good years out of Addai....

New England fans may recall that the Patriots actually were looking to draft Addai in the 2006 draft....but decided on Laurence Maroney.

BCS Playoff format for College Football....10 Teams ...1 BCS Champion

The NCAA and College Football need to change the BCS this year....a +1 format will not help and only allowing 4 teams in will not be fair either....we are a nation of the Top 10.....so let's do it.....take the top 10 teams and let them play it out over just 4 weeks.....you can still keep the other bowl games if you want....it's a win win for everyone...you do the math...will you make more money in a 10 team format or 4 team format....check out my video and format....share your opinions....

Junior Seau....will always be missed

Junior Seau will be missed by so many people....football fans all over the world miss him today...his friends and family didn't get a chance to say goodbye...to tell him he was loved and they would help with whatever he needed....suicide is such a dark place to end....the fear and pain only felt by some....the guilt left behind for others never will go away....they will always question what they didn't do....life is a journey that will end for all....enjoy every moment you have...and share it with everyone!!!
